YESSTYLE Haul 2017

Hey guys! I'm back with another Yesstyle Haul! ❤️
I always go to either Yesstyle or Dresslink when I'm craving some super cute Asian clothes. Yesstyle is a tad bit more expensive, but I think they tend to have better quality. If anyone knows any other good Asian clothing websites, please let me know!

On to the haul~! 👉

Quick Review - Shiseido Ibuki Quick Fix Mist

Why hello there you.... Thank you for stopping by!
Today I have a quick review for you! This time I will be reviewing the Shiseido Ibuki Quick Fix Mist. I have been obsessed with skin mists lately so when I saw this baby, I knew that I had to pick it up! Skin mists make me feel so fancy and proper hehe~

I also had to buy it because I love Shiseido. It's just a brand that my mom always used while I was growing up, and now I'm kinda addicted... If you haven't tried their gel moisturizer from the Pureness line and you have oily skin too, girlllll! Where have you been??

Anyways, on to the review!

Quick Haul - Spring 2016

Hey guys,
Long time no post! I'm in my last year of pharmacy school now so life has been crazy.
Since when did I become one of those girls who does nothing but spend time with her boyfriend? What is life... someone help me lol.

Anyways, here's a quick Amazon haul that I have for you! I actually bought everything back in March so sorry if this is a little outdated but I couldn't resist posting this beautiful haul, especially because of how big K-beauty has gotten. Don't ever buy Korean products from Sephora though. Very overpriced....

Quick Review - Amore Pacific Verite UV Multi Cushion

Why hello there my pretties~
I bring forth a new review! Ok, this review has actually been a long time coming, but I've been so lazy this summer... wahhhh~
Cushions are all the rage over in Korea and I just couldn't help but to get my hands on one!
After doing my research, I settled on this one: the Amore Pacific Verite UV Multi Cushion.
I'll probably be getting more in the future, because let's just say, I am addicted~~ :'D

Current Music Favorites

Hey guys! It's about that time of year where I'm way too overwhelmed with exams that I decided to screw it all and write a new blog post lol. Anyways, here's some songs that I have been utterly and hopelessly addicted to.

1. Imagine Dragons - Demons

Omg. Omg omg omg. I love this song. We all have our own backgrounds and stories, and this sums it up perfectly. Sometimes we're too scared to talk about our secrets so we just hide it inside. So don't judge people based on their first impressions. Judge only on what you know. Judge just who you know, not what you don't know. I teared up a little bit hehe~ I'm way too emotional though, so that might be why, but still I love you Imagine Dragons. They keep hitting hits out of the ballpark <3

Steffie's Top iPhone Photo Apps

Hey guys!
I hope everyone has had a most wonderful Holiday time with their family and friends~ <3
For the holidays I found myself taking more pictures and playing with my phone more. Because of this, I rediscovered my love of photo-editing, so here you go! Also, all of these apps are free too!! Yay! c:

I don't like to clutter my iPhone with too many apps, so I just have 5 main photo editing apps (if you don't include instagram~). So let's get to it!

3+ Tips for Pulling an All-Nighter

Hey guys~! Gahhh! I wish I would have posted this earlier since I think most people are done with school (or at least in the USA and Canada) for the summer, but I just had the brilliant idea of making this post!

I don't know about you, but studying can be a huge pain in the bum for me, so I procrastinate a lot.... but that doesn't stop me from excelling in school~! Why? :'D Because when the time comes, I have my methods of cramming. I know cramming is a really bad idea since you're not truly learning the material, but dire times call for dire measures no? ;) So I don't sleep as much as I would like to.... truthfully, there are just those weeks when even though you're not procrastinating, there just isn't enough time in the day to get everything done and get a decent amount of sleep.

I saw this picture online, and although I wouldn't say that its completely true... I will say that life requires preparation and planning.... if you don't schedule your time well this is what will come of it:

So  yea! Enough blabbing! Let's get to my helpful tips of pulling a successful all-nighter for all the ladies out there! c:

Perfume Wishlist 2013

Lol. I WANT EVERYTHING. WHY?!
Hey guise! D:
I can't stop myself. But I decided that I will probably buy myself a new perfume sometime soon as a little gift to myself. Here are the ones I've been looking at. I recently just got Vera Wang Princess (did you see my last wishlist?!) and I think that one can be either a day or night perfume, so I really don't know what I'm looking for! D:

I have smelt mostly all of these perfumes before so now I'm just narrowing it down.

Let's just get to it!

Comparison/ Review: TonyMoly vs. The FaceShop Lipstains

What up yo~! I know you're all pretty tired of my life rantings, so I'll just be good and post another review hehe~ <3 This one is more of a comparison of the My Lips Eat Cherry by The Face Shop, and the infamous Tony Tint in Red Apple by Tony Moly. Obviously these are two different colors so I won't be comparing their colors, but more of the products themselves. Maybe I should have gotten the same color, but when I was in Korea I was like, I already bought that one lip stain, but I want to buy more, so I justify myself by getting this color! ;D Thinking back on it....I should have bought more! Stupid weight limits! >:(

Review: Face Shop Petit Cheek Stick #3

YO! WHADDUP MY HOMIES! :'D
Sheepy's back with another review! I was going to do another haul, but I didn't want you all to know my true secrets of a shopping addict. D: Not like I post everything I buy anyways~ ;D But I will show you the presents that I bought my friends~ c; Only later..... ><;;

Don't judge me for my love to spend money.... D: It's the stresss I tell you! T____T

Ok. On to the review please~ Confessions of a blush-aholic. ❤

Here I have the Face Shop Lovely Me:ex Petit Cheek Stick #3 in Berry PongPong! OMG. Do you remember when I told you guys that I am a sucker for cute packaging..... WELL I seriously don't lie....

PRICE: I believe this is priced at around $6.50 USD ( but actually priced at around 9,900 won) for 6g of product. I got a discount because I picked this up at the duty free at the Incheon International airport in Seoul this past summer. I had some left over Korean money, but not too much. It's hard to exchange anything under $10 so I decided to just spend it all! SPEND IT ALL!! And due to the low amount that I had, I ended up picking this up. It was in US prices since it was the airport.... how strange right?

COLOR: Is it only me, but I'd always imagine a berry shade to be more of a deeper, more of a plum color? This color is not like that, though. But this one is like pink, pink. Like hot pink. I quite like these shades of blushes if you haven't noticed yet. It makes you seem younger I feel.

Here's a swatch:

The color is pretty vibrant when you first apply the blush, but once you blend it out.... not so much. :'(
Or maybe I blend too much?! But with these types of blushes, it's hard not to blend too much.

Here it is blended out:

See what I mean?! I mean, I guess it's better if it's not too BAM! in your face when it's actually on your face but sadness..... SO. Just warning! Don't be overly zealous with the blending like I am. D:

APPLICATION: It goes on really smoothly~! It's a really soft, creamy texture. Once you start blending, you'll notice that it turns to more of a powdery consistency.

OVERALL THOUGHTS: The lasting power of this blush is kinda dismal.... especially on me who likes to rub my face and has oilier skin. Therefore, I normally wear this blush as a base for a powder blush on top. It makes the color much nicer and it just lasts longer. It's the same with most cream products. You need to set it with a powder! Then it become AMAZING! :'D

Here's how I wear it:

STEP 1. SLAB some of that stuff one. I'm only going to put it on one cheek for now! :'D

STEP 2. BLEND it out~ I used a brush so that I don't go too crazy. I recommend you to use a brush and NOT your hands when blending! c; Blend blend blend~ It's quite late, though, so my lighting sucks. Totally washed the color and photoshop can't fix this. :( It's better in person, I swear!

STEP 3: MORE BLUSH is added :p Can't get pinker than this. :p AGAIN. SORRY FOR THE CRAPPY LIGHTING. :'( It's seriously pink in person. But I think you get the picture.

Better color pic:

I used this blush. I swear it's not like I only use the Face Shop, this is just the only other hot pink blush I have next to me.

Are my eyes pretty?!! :'D It's been a long time since I tried eye-makeup again. :'p

CONCLUSION: (3.5/5) Overall, the color is not bad, and the pigmentation is not bad. But it can be really easily rubbed away if blended too much so you have to have a light hand when working with this product. There is not really any scent for this product and I do not see any fragrances listed in the ingredients so I do not believe it will irritate your skin much if you have sensitive skin. The texture of the cream is soft due to the wax and shea butter that you also read in the ingredients above. I quite like products with Shea butter. I wouldn't say that it's very moisturizing, though, because it turns powdery once blended. but I do not expect that of a blush.I would totally recommend this product to you if you don't mind having layer blushes!

This product also comes in 2 other colors or you could get the perfume sticks!
SO CUTE. OMG. Want to buy them all now!

For more information please visit their website! All in Korean though! I had to click random links to get to the product page for this blush though. It's an interactive website so I cannot seem to give you the exact link of the blush. Sorry! ( http://www.thefaceshop.com/ )

As always, I buy everything myself. c;<3

Review: TonyMoly Petite Bunny Gloss Bar #6

Angry bunny stick is angry! Rawrawrarawr! >:D
...
Hehe. Sorry. Anyways, I know I've been posting a lot more personal stuff lately... but I'm back at my beauty reviews~ Hehe. This time I have for you a new "lip gloss/ balm" from Tony Moly in #6 Orange. There are 9 colors in total. I actually bought this one because I saw it on Beautifymeeh's youtube. I'm a fan~ :'p

PRICE: (4.5/5) I picked this up from ebay for $5.92 USD + shipping. I don't know how expensive it is in Korea, but probably cheaper. =3=  But not bad for a tinted lip balm in my opinion. Also, I just checked the same seller, and I guess the price has risen, but here's the link:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/6-Juicy-Orange-Tonymoly-Tony-Moly-Petite-Bunny-Lip-Gloss-Lipstick-2g-/150822322385?pt=US_Makeup_Lips&hash=item231db600d1

PACKAGING: (5/5) OMG. I'm totally someone who is sold by cute packaging... which is why I love TonyMoly or Asian cosmetics in general. It's just too cute! The bunny concept is not new to TonyMoly but I think its completely adorable how each color has its own personality. Why the orange one is angry... I do not know.

COLOR: (3.5/5) Ok. So the color of the packaging is NOT the actual color of the lip balm. I was completely confused by that because the packaging looks a lot more pink than orange. But I assure you (and you can see from the swatch) the lip balm is a nice coral-y /orange color. It does have some nice shimmers, but I'd say that they are pretty finely milled because you don't really notice that when you're actually wearing it. It just gives it a nice shine. As for the color on your lips, it turns out to be more pink than you would expect! I don't know if my lips are super pigmented, but the color is pretty pink. More like the color of the container than the swatch I showed you.

CONCLUSION: (3.75/5) Aside from the adorable packaging, there are some downfalls to this. I would say that it is definitely less hydrating than your average lipbalm. Also, when you wear it, it completely and totally emphasizes the cracks in your lips. So if you do wear it, you HAVE to have already nicely moisturized lips or maybe use a lip scrub or something like that. It's really terrible on my dry, chapped lips... The product just builds up in the cracks of your lips.... T____T (That's why there is no picture of my lips. LOL) But I do kinda like the color and if your lips are nice and scrubbed, it does look really nice. Just maybe not so good for people with drier lips? I don't know. ><

As for lasting power, it lasts as long as lip balm. I don't really wear lipstick or anything like that so I can't compare, but yea, as long as regular lipbalm like Burt's Bees tinted lipbalms or something? (ie around 1-2 hours).

There is some transfer seen when eating or drinking stuff. One time, I was drinking bubble tea with this on... and I was wondering where this orange-y red stuff on the straw was coming from... it was the lip gloss. ;D
It wears nicely though. Not blotty or anything so yea~ c:

It has a really overwhelming sweet orange scent that lasts for a little bit after you put it on. If you're the type of person who doesn't like heavily scented products... probably shouldn't try most Korean drug store lipglosses/ balms then. Sorry! For me, it doesn't really taste like anything either!

The one thing that I despise the most, though, is that ONCE YOU WIND IT UP, YOU CANNOT WIND IT BACK DOWN!! So be careful!! T_____T

Also, this is pretty hard to get your hands on since it is a Korean item. I don't even remember seeing it in Korea this past summer? But then again, I wasn't really looking for it. ><

Also, Also. Here's a picture of the other others in case you were wondering! I might try #5 Pitch next because it looks adorable~

Review: Etude House Collagen Moistful Firming Eye Cream

Hey guys! I have yet another review for you! But this one is going to be really quick because I'm lazy. =3=;; This beauty was actually found through a sample I had gotten from an online purchase.
It's the Etude House: Collagen Moistful Firming Eye Cream! c:
I picked this up at one of the Etude stores in Myeongdong when I was in Korea last summer.

PRICE: I couldn't find the recipe but I believe it's priced at 16000 won (or about $15 USD) for 25mL of product. Not too bad. But I was quite upset to find out that in the Lotte Department stores, in the duty free sections you can find it for about $10 USD? I think I remember. I just remember it was cheaper... -_- And don't worry, pretty sure for the lower brands you don't have to pick up the products at the airport. But I may be wrong so don't quote me on that. But def check out the Lotte Duty Free~ :D

CLAIMS:
"Eye cream moisturizes, tightens and protects the delicate eye area with Baobab Tree extract and Collagen to smooth fine lines and wrinkles and improve look."
Note, it's pretty nice to actually see those things in the ingredients! ;D

As you can see, it's in a tub. I normally use a clean spatula thingy to scrap some on the lid and use that.

TEXTURE: It's really more of a mixture of a cream and a gel, which is really nice for my oily-combination skin. c: It soaks in really easily, and quickly (like within seconds!) leaving your eyes really moisturized! I also use it on my laugh lines and other dry spots around the face. A nice tip, eye cream, not just for the eyes!

SCENT: I quite like this smell! It's more of a really clean, fresh, lemon-y scent! Really refreshing! But it is heavily scented, so I don't know how it will do on people with sensitivities to added fragrances.

CONCLUSION: I really like this eye cream! I know I'm only in my early 20s, but it's good to get a head start on those eye wrinkles.... Did you know women start aging at 25?! D: Freaking ridiculous, but whatever, I have my eye cream ready! >:o But because of this, I cannot really say anything about it's firming claims. But I actually think it may. This may sound weird, but when I was taking that swatch picture, the eye cream was actually making that spot tingle? So maybe working it's magic? Hehe. I don't know. BUT. I can say that it does leaves your eyes feeling nice and moisturized. I can really tell the difference when I don't put it on.... My eyes just look so much more... blah.... D:

I would definitely repurchase this product in the future. I think I've fallen for all gel-ish products! <3
This line is actually pretty good I think. I've heard a lot of good things about it!

If you didn't know, Etude House is under Innisfree and Amore Pacific in Korean Skincare (in that order: lowest -> higher end). Kinda like how Loreal is the more drugstore brand of the higher end brand Lancome. c:

First Ever Ulta Haul!!

Hi. My name is Stephanie and I'm a blush addict. D: I don't know why, but I find myself always picking up new blushes.... I think I found my favorite type of make-up. Hehe~

If you've ever been to Japan, I find that a lot of the girls just pile on the blush! Surprisingly, I really quite like that dolly look! I think that may be why I love blush so much. Because I have to pile it on. ;D

Anyway~ On to the haul!

Smashbox Blush in Flush - $24 USD (3.7g)
This was my first ever high end product that I bought for myself! Sure I've been gifted some high end stuff, or my Mommie bought me some before, but this is the first one I ever bought for myself. Milestone here. :p

A beautiful tinkled pink with silver glitter. I'd say that it's soft and finely milled, but the glitters make the texture a little harder. As I said before, I'm in love with dolly pink blushes at the moment so I had to pick this one up. I'd image it would look amazing on all you pale girls out there~! I'm not so pale, though. ;D This one was kind of an impulse buy though. I was originally going for the Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush, but the saleslady pushed me to this one. I'm like the perfect customer because I get pressured into buying stuff so easily.... now I have to go back and try to pick up the Tarte blush though... ;D You'd think this one is cheaper than the Tarte one (which is $25?) but it's a lot smaller in size... -n-

NYX Cosmestics - Blushes $5.99 USD ea. (4g)
My first time at Ulta means my first time trying out NYX! I'm not much of an eye shadow person yet, so I'll start this off with more blush! ;D I'm sold already. Amazing quality for amazing price~
left to right: Rose Garden (PB26) and Mocha (PB01)

Rose Garden is a nice true hottish pink with gold glitters. Super gorgeous! Not so much of that natural look though, but that's not really what I go for. ;D Mocha is more of a Mauve-y, brownish reddish color that does give you more of a natural flush. I hear a lot of good things about this blush, which is why I decided to try it out. Let me say, this blush is so finely milled and soft it's amazing for the price! I couldn't believe how soft it was at first; however, Rose Garden is not as soft; probably because of the glitter chunks, though.

(left to right: Rose Garden, Mocha)

NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in 604, Milk $4.49 USD
Again, another highly raved about product that I just had to try out.

(left to right: Rose Garden (NYX), Mocha (NYX), Flush (Smashbox), Milk (NYX))
Sorry for the change of background, my iPhone died so I was charging it when I took this, hence it's over my bed where my iPhone charger is plugged in. ;D Now you can see them all together~ I can't wait to try out flush. It's so pretty!

Palladio Rice Powder in Translucent - $4.99 USD (17g)
Actually, I picked this one up because I do remember my mom using this before in the past~ I don't remember if she liked it or not, but I thought I'd try it out again~ The packaging, from back in my mother's days, has since changed I believe? I wanted to try a cheaper translucent powder before I went ahead and tried some more expensive ones just to see if I liked adding that extra step in~ Probably won't use that puff though... it seems quite cheap. D:

I also picked up the Grape Seed Peel off Masque and Mint Clay Mask from Queen Helene for the fun of it (~$3.99 USD ea) so look forward to my thoughts on those! Thanks for reading!
Sheepy out~ <3

Nerdy Frames from Baby Phat

So the story goes~ my father's name is actually Phat. ;D
It's not pronounced the same way as Baby Phat though. It's not like "fat" more like "fa-at." If you get what I mean. Anyways, when I learned about the brand Baby Phat, I thought it was the most hilarious thing ever since it has my Dad's name in it. :////D Hehe. It means, high end or luxurious in whatever Asian I am.... I'm guessing Vietnamese. Sorry, Viet and Canto sound the same to me so I get confused, but it's one of those two. D:

But you don't need to know that. ;D
My new glasses are from Baby Phat
I picked them up from America's Best Contacts and Eyeglasses since my cousin works for them so I got mine for super cheap~ ;)

They are originally priced at $129.99 for the frames only.

What I love most about these glasses are that they have the large, nerdy black frames that I so adore. But they also have that pop of hot pink that's really spunky and cute! <3 You'd think that the pink would be a little much, but when you're wearing them, you hardly see it! It's like this small accent that just makes the frames so amazing~! <3 I was looking for larger black frames than I had originally had because the frames tended to cover my eyes. Larger frames will make your face look smaller! :D

The sides have a snake-ish/ alligator-ish pattern with the designer tag in a matte silver. I'm so fashionable. ;D
Hehehe~ I kid~ ;D

Here's how they look on me:

Up close:
(hehe~ playing with le webcam on my bed when I was super bored.... D:)

Farther away:
(at fancy 21st birthday party, with my friend Janice)

You can learn more about the place I got them here: http://www.twopair.com/

ALSO. Pro tip~ make sure not to sleep with your glasses on! I'm overworked so sometimes I nap with mine on and they've since bent out of shape... they don't fit me anymore! D: I have to go them them adjusted because they're falling off every 5 seconds... yea, just fyi. :(
Sheepy out~ <3
