NOTD - Dressed to Kill

Hey guys~ Really quick update on my lastest nail design.
Now that's it's autumn, it's time to break out all of those darker colors, especially those dark reds. I think this is such a classy, timeless look. This particular one is in Maybelline - 270 Dressed to Kill. Gold tones tend to go really well with deeper jewel tone shades, so I decided to add some gold accents on my ring finger. These nail art decals that I used were a little bigger than I thought, though.

This was my first time actually trying out Maybelline nail polishes and I'd rate them as an average nail polish. They just have a normal sized skinny wand and the polish blends relatively smoothly; however, you will definitely need at least 2 coats to make it opaque. (3 would be the best!)

What I Used:

Fresh Paint Quick Dry Nail Drops
Sally Hanson, Hard As Nails UV Top Coat
Dark Red Nail Polish ($2.99)
Gold Nail Art Decals
Nail Polish Remover for clean-up (~ $5.00)
Toothpick (to pick up and place the decals)

Make sure to apply a little top coat to the toothpick to make it easier to pick up the gold decals.

I actually picked up this nail polish remover at Walgreens some time ago, but I really like it! It has a no spill, push down cap thingy; it smells pretty good; and it takes off the nail polish amazingly well. I would definitely recommend that if someone is looking to try a new nail polish remover.

Thanks for reading~ <3
